When Mac and Rae Ann attended an event at the famed Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, they visited the gift shop and found this nifty little guitar-shaped fingernail clipper. Whenever one of our music friends visits the Ryman, we ask them to pick up a bunch for us.
We're never without our Clippers and if you attend one of our shows and win a contest, you may be the proud owner of one, too!
Many people think we are named for the storied clipper ships that used to zip in and out of the great seaport of Nashville as they carried their valuable cargo around the world. Of course, this is ridiculous since Nashville has no seaport and never came close to seeing a clipper ship. Nonetheless, we thought The Nashville Clippers would be a great name and are almost sure we are the only folk/country/bluegrass band named after a personal hygiene item.
